On January 26, 2024, Baridhara Society and the voluntary organization Heroes for All, in collaboration with Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), organized this year’s Paara Utshob at Road No. 3 of Baridhara Diplomatic Area, Dhaka. Shakti Foundation was proud to participate in this Utshab and win the award for "Most Informative Stall 2024”.
Shakti showcased all its major activities, including the “Mini Ambulance” (Shakti’s Emergency Solution Provider for providing doorstep healthcare services in remote areas), Shakti’s “Save Your Breath” installation (the first air pollution awareness billboard in Bangladesh), and eco-friendly products made by our Microfinance Program clients.
Honorable Mayor of DNCC Md. Atiqul Islam, State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, MP, British High Commissioner Sarah Catherine Cooke, Indian High Commissioner Pranay Kumar Verma and other dignitaries visited our diverse stall and expressed their appreciation for our activities.
