Compassion, love, and standing beside others are each forms of worship. Among them, Zakat and donations represent one of the most beautiful expressions of this devotion. Zakat is not only a religious obligation; it is also a powerful means of restoring balance and equity in society. Your small contribution can become a source of hope for someone in need a smile on the face of a helpless elderly person, or the inspiration for a child with intellectual disabilities to lead a healthier and more self-reliant life. Through your Zakat, neglected and elderly individuals living in old age homes are receiving food, clothing, medicine, and essential care. At the same time, children with special needs are being supported with love, care, education, and the promise of a brighter future. Shakti Foundation has long been engaged in such humanitarian efforts. As in previous years, this year as well, special Eid meals have been distributed among 244 elderly residents in old age homes located in Barishal, Jessore, Rangpur, and Uttara Dhaka, along with 145 children from a school in Rajshahi. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and warm appreciation, on behalf of Shakti Foundation, to everyone who has contributed to and supported this noble cause.
