On November 26, 2023, Shakti Foundation awarded scholarships to 13 meritorious students of Class XI under its Shikkha Britti Program. The event took place in the hall room of Shakti's Chittagong Regional Office. Chief Guest Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin, Assistant Commissioner (Information and Grievance Section, NGO Cell) & Executive Magistrate of Chittagong District Commissioner's Office, presented the scholarship checks to the students.
Mr. Md. Mohammad Ali, Accounts, NGO Forum Chittagong, presided over the event as Special Guest. On behalf of Shakti Foundation, Zonal Head Mr. Md. Shibbir Hasan, Regional Head Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, and other staff members attended the event. Proud parents of the students and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
Every year, Shakti Foundation awards scholarships to meritorious children from low-income households. Last financial year, scholarships worth BDT 36 lakh was provided by the organization. The parents of the students along with other guests present on the occasion highly appreciated Shakti Foundation's Shikkha Britti Program.
