Shakti Foundation has joined hands with Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC to train 30 young caregivers — most of whom will be women — opening pathways to stable livelihoods and greater economic independence. Over six months, participants will receive hands-on training through a blend of classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, internships, career counseling, and job placement support, equipping them with skills that meet real industry demand. The initiative reflects both organizations' shared commitment to inclusive growth and meaningful opportunity for underprivileged youth in Bangladesh. The partnership was formalized on 29 April 2026, when Najith Meewanage, Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, handed over the program check to Imran Ahmed, Deputy Executive Director of Shakti Foundation.
