Shakti Foundation proudly participated in “The Flow Fest 2025,” an event dedicated to promoting wellness and sustainable urban living. Our participation highlighted several of Shakti’s key climate initiatives, including:
1. A Real-time Air Quality Index (AQI) display and air pollution awareness installation to educate visitors on urban air quality issues.
2. An exhibition of Dhaka’s first man-made, urban forest, Lautola Bon, demonstrating innovative approaches to urban greening.
3. A panel discussion on environment and wildlife conservation, featuring Labiba Rahman, Strategic Advisor of Shakti Foundation’s Climate Change Program, as one of the panelists. Ms. Rahman shared insights into Shakti Foundation’s urban forest initiative and ongoing greening projects that promote sustainability and ecological balance in Dhaka. Other panelists also emphasized the importance of biodiversity protection and building cleaner, greener cities for the future.
