Since 2022, Shakti Foundation has been on a mission to make Bangladesh greener, cleaner, and healthier by planting nearly 90,000 plants and trees across the country, including an urban forest and a Miyawaki forest, and actively maintaining over 50,000 of them. By 2030, we aim to plant 1 million healthy trees nationwide. None of this is possible without our incredible partners. We are thrilled to welcome NCC Bank PLC as our newest partner in this journey. Together, we are transforming an abandoned road median in Hatirjheel into a thriving green space, breathing new life into one of Dhaka's most iconic urban corridors. The partnership agreement was signed on 10 May at NCC Bank's head office, in the presence of the managing director of NCC Bank PLC, M Shamsul Arefin, and the deputy executive director of Shakti Foundation, Imran Ahmed, along with senior officials from both organizations.
