Through this partnership, vocational skill development training will be provided to adolescent girls—especially daughters of Shakti’s members as well as other girls from the community—opening up wider opportunities for employment and income generation. It is noteworthy that UCEP Bangladesh has long been working to ensure education, technical skills development and gender equality in employment for underprivileged children and adolescents. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Imran Ahmed, Deputy Executive Director of Shakti Foundation, along with other senior officials of the organization. Officials from UCEP Bangladesh were also present.
