We are pleased to share that Mr. Imran Ahmed, Deputy Executive Director of Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women, has received the "Award for Social Welfare Activities".
The award was presented by Kazi Md. Shafiqur Rahman, President of the Bankers' Welfare Association Bangladesh (BWAB), at their 10th Annual General Meeting in Cox's Bazar. This award recognizes Mr. Ahmed’s role in bringing digital transformation to Bangladesh's microfinance sector. His work has helped make Shakti Foundation's operations more efficient and transparent, making it easier for marginalized women to access modern financial services.This initiative to support marginalized women through easy and technology-driven services is a matter of great pride for us. Founded in 1992 by Humaira Islam, PhD, Shakti Foundation has always been working to make women self-reliant. This achievement of Mr. Imran Ahmed will take that effort even further.
