In the honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Shakti Foundation undertakes several free breast cancer screening programs every year. On 11 October, 2023, Shakti organized the 4th Breast Cancer Screening Campaign at Halishahar Mohuripara Branch Office in Chittagong. Pro bono breast cancer screening and consultation services were provided to 154 women by six specialist doctors under the supervision of Dr. Shafayatuzzaman, Associate Professor and Head of Oncology at the Chittagong Mother and Child Cancer Institute and Research Center. Shakti employees and clients, as well as community members from the Halishahar and Kotwali areas of Chittagong were served through the campaign. In this way, Shakti continues to contribute towards the field of women’s healthcare and awareness.
