On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Dhaka Flow and Baridhara Society have jointly organized a two-day festival titled “Inspire Her Wellness” on March 8–9, 2024. Shakti Foundation has contributed evergreen, aromatic, and Ayurvedic Bakul trees (Mimusops elengi) for the festival. Honorable State Minister Nasrul Hamid, MP, Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, planted a Bakul tree on the occasion. The Honorable Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Md. Atiqul Islam, also planted a Bakul tree during the closing ceremony. Deputy Executive Director of Shakti Foundation Imran Ahmed, CEO and Founder of Dhaka Flow Shazia Omar, and President of Baridhara Society Feroz M. Hassan were present at the event.
