Shakti Foundation has been advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as part of its commitment towards public wellbeing. On 17 September, 2023 special needs children from an affiliated school in Rajshahi visited Shakti Bhaban (Shakti Head Office) in Mirpur, Dhaka. These precious children met with and enthralled Shakti staff with dancing, singing, poetry recitation and acting performances.
Founder and Executive Director Mrs. Humaira Islam PhD graced the event and awarded customized gift bags to the children. Deputy Executive Director Mr. Imran Ahmed and senior members of the organization were present on the occasion.
