Shakti Foundation has been privy to the effects of extreme atmospheric heat through the experiences of our 400,000 female clients throughout Bangladesh, especially in highly urbanized informal settlements. We are pleased to be a partner in this exciting global initiative led by Arsht-Rock Resilience Center that brings a Chief Heat Officer to Dhaka. We believe this initiative will accelerate our efforts to protect people as Dhaka City continues to grow and endure rapidly rising temperatures.
