As part of the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, observed from 25 November to 10 December, Shakti Foundation has embarked on a new collaboration with the Acid Survivors Foundation. The two organizations will work jointly to support acid and other violence survivors through professional skills development, healthcare, and essential assistance.
To formally mark this important partnership, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 30 November 2025 at the Shakti Foundation Head Office. The event was attended by Ms. Samia Ahmed, Executive Director of the Acid Survivors Foundation, and Mr. Imran Ahmed, Deputy Executive Director of Shakti Foundation, along with senior officials from both organizations.
Together, the two institutions reaffirmed their commitment to advancing impactful initiatives that stand beside women, men, and families who have survived acid violence.
