The rapid changes in our climate present a critical threat to human society and biodiversity worldwide. In response to this urgent crisis, the Global Youth Leadership Center (GYLC) has organized the Global Youth Climate Summit 2025 at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. This summit will bring together nearly 500 young leaders from 39 countries to collaborate, learn, and innovate towards sustainable solutions.
We are proud to announce the Sabbir Ahmed and Kazi Susmita Jahan emerging youth leaders from the Climate Change Program of Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women, will represent Bangladesh at this global event. Their participation will not only amplify global awareness on climate science but also nurture their leadership potential, equipping them to tackle the climate challenges of tomorrow.
